Terms of Service

Acceptance

By creating an account or using HitTheRoad ("the app", "the service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

HitTheRoad generates AI-assisted road trip plans based on inputs you provide. Generated trip plans are suggestions only and may contain inaccuracies or outdated information about places, routes, or conditions. You are solely responsible for verifying any information before acting on it (driving conditions, business hours, road closures, weather, etc.).

Accounts

You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum digital consent age in your country. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity on your account.

Guest access: you can try HitTheRoad without registering. A guest session is an anonymous account tied to your device and includes one free trip generation. Further trips, purchases and personal features require a free account. A guest session cannot be recovered — if you sign out or lose the device, the guest trip is permanently lost.

Credits, Pro subscription and purchases

HitTheRoad uses a credit system. Each AI-generated trip consumes one credit. Credits can be purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play as non-renewing in-app purchases, processed by those stores under their terms.

Credits are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or store policy. Credits have no monetary value, cannot be transferred or sold, and may expire if the account is deleted.

HitTheRoad Pro is an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or annual) that includes 15 trip generations per subscription month, free trip regenerations, travel document attachments with AI assistance, and priority generation. It renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the period ends; manage or cancel it in your store account settings. Unused monthly allowance does not carry over.

Referrals: we may offer referral rewards (e.g. bonus credits). Rewards have no cash value, are limited to genuinely new users, and may be changed or withdrawn at any time; abuse voids them.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service or its underlying AI providers.
• Submit content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, or violates the rights of others.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service.

Your content

You retain ownership of what you provide — trip inputs, notes, check-in photos, travel documents. You must hold the rights to what you upload, and it must not be unlawful or infringe anyone's rights; we may remove content that does. Generated trip outputs are provided to you for personal use. The HitTheRoad name, logo, and app design remain our property.

If you share a trip link or publish a trip to the community, you grant us the permission needed to display that trip's itinerary publicly on our web pages for as long as it remains shared. You can stop sharing at any time in the app.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time inside the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose. Use AI-generated travel suggestions at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HitTheRoad and Mücahit Gürbüz shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
